Founded in 2017 by an unlikely partnership between an aspiring entrepreneur and a cricket geek, Twelves was forged by bringing together disgruntled twelfth men from existing clubs/teams to provide them a platform to showcase their talents. The name is play on the cricketing terminology and a homage to the Seattle Seahawks fans.
Playing our first season of the NorthWestCricketLeague (NWCL) in 2018, with JeffersonPark @ BeaconHill as our home ground, we finished runners up in the 40 over tournament. By the end of the year, we had expanded to two teams for the T20 tournament with both teams finishing in the top 3 and one going on to becoming the playoff champions.
Over the next few years, we've expanded to multiple teams, built ourselves another home @ McCollum Park, Snohomish county, partnered with academies to foster young cricketing talents from the area, hosted tournaments, supported charitable causes and even competed against and beat teams with professional players representing USA in the 2024 T20 WorldCup.
Today, we are a certified 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, our family is 100 strong and still growing. Our passion to make this beautiful sport accessible to one and all in the Pacific Northwest is as strong as ever.
